Sebastian Kroczka – Industry Solutions Advisor for Completion Phase Optimization and Automation
Sebastian Kroczka is Industry Solutions Advisor for Completion Phase optimization and automation in the EESSA region. He has been with Landmark for nine years. Prior to his current role, he served as stimulation Engineer and Business Development Representative across Continental Europe. Mr. Kroczka is graduate of University of Science and Technology with a master degree in drilling technology. His technical background in drilling and field experience in completion and production phases allows him to connect dots between different phases of well life cycle.

Mike Scott – Industry Solutions Advisor for Production & Economics
Mike Scott is an Industry Solutions Advisor for Production & Economics in the Europe, Eurasia and Sub Saharan Africa region. He has been with Halliburton Landmark for 12 years and prior to his current role provided onsite, consulting and training services to clients across the region, particularly in Digital Oilfield engagements. Prior to joining Halliburton Landmark in 2005, Mr. Scott worked for Edinburgh Petroleum Services as IT Manager, and a number of technology providers in market feed services and data communications.
Alice Mayoud – Technical Advisor for E&P Production and Data Management
Alice Mayoud is a Technical Advisor for E&P Production and Data Management at Halliburton Landmark, responsible for driving all Landmark data management life cycles and digital transformations. She has more than 15 years of industry experience, mainly in Africa and Europe, with a special focus on data management from Production Data Management System (PDMS) projects and on Reservoir & Exploration Information Management systems that will allow production optimization and improvement of the recovery oil factors of each asset for multinational operators and national oil companies. She earned a master’s degree in computer science (specializing in oil & gas, geology, and cartography) in Paris.

Colin Saunders, Senior Regional Geoscientist
Colin Saunders has focused on exploration in frontier regions for the past 10 years. He joined Neftex® Insights in 2008, helping to build the Sub-Saharan Africa region product suite. Mr. Saunders began his career as a North Africa analyst for Deloitte’s PetroView® product suite. He holds a master’s degree in geology from the University of Southampton.
Jon Castell, Geoscientist
Jon Castell works for the Exploration Applications team, where his primary role is to carry out basin and play level screening across areas of the globe, focusing on ‘Wells to Watch’ and frontier basins. Mr. Castell joined Neftex® Insights in 2010, where he began his career as a technical assistant supporting geoscientists. He holds bachelor degrees in geology and archaeology from the University of Birmingham.
Dr. Natasha Dowey – Basin Modeling Product Lead
Dr. Natasha Dowey is responsible for the development of basin modeling at Neftex® Insights. She has worked in industry for seven years, specializing in the integration of regional sequence stratigraphic, geochemical and geodynamic data to assess petroleum prospectivity in data-poor areas. Her research interests include basin modeling at rifted margins, the impact of igneous activity on petroleum systems, and the geology of China’s onshore sedimentary basins. Dr. Dowey holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Philosophy from Aberystwyth University and a Ph.D. in geology from the University of Liverpool.
Duncan Macgregor, Consultant
Duncan Macgregor is a consultant petroleum geologist specializing in regional African exploration and training. He is a trainer, mentor and product auditor at Neftex® Insights. He has extensive research interests on the evolution and petroleum systems of the African continent, has written over 20 papers on African and Southeast Asian petroleum systems and has edited three publications about African petroleum geology. He is a Visiting Lecturer in Petroleum Geoscience for the University of London. Before joining Neftex, Duncan worked for 20 years at BP, working largely in the Far East and thereafter has worked and consulted for a number of independent companies and consultancies, mainly on new ventures and play fairway scale studies in Africa.

Eric Moto - Technical Advisor for Drilling
Eric Moto is a Technical Advisor for Drilling at Landmark business line of Halliburton, responsible for driving the Landmark well construction solution to enable operators to achieve optimal technical, operational, and economic performance across the well construction lifecycle. He earned his master degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Pau (France), while he also holds an Engineering degree in Drilling: Oil and Gas’ from the Mining Institute of Saint Petersburg in Russia. Eric has 9+ years’ experience with a focus in drilling and completion. He has worked as a drilling engineer and drilling consultant; in addition, Eric has designed and contributed to technical development projects and management in the Drilling operations areas.
Nasikul Islam - Technical Sales Consultant for Drilling and Completions
Nasikul Islam is a Sr. Technical Sales Consultant for Drilling and Completions in the Eurasia/Europe/Sub-Saharan Africa Region for Halliburton Landmark. He is a master’s degree candidate in petroleum engineering (December 2018) at the University of Utah. He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and chemistry from Texas AM University. Mr. Islam has more than 17 years of oil & gas industry experience, and five SPE publications related to real-time and drilling performance. In 2002, he began his career in Schlumberger’s Drilling and Measurements division. In 2008, he joined Knowledge Systems (KSI) and consulted for Saudi ARAMCO in its Real Time Operations Centre in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. That same year, Mr. Islam joined Talisman Energy Calgary as a Drilling Optimization Engineer, where he used his previous expertise with real-time systems and proactively intervened from the Talisman Real Time Operations Centre. Before joining Halliburton Landmark, he worked as a Senior Drilling & Completions Engineer with Husky Energy for Deep Basin-Ansell; as a Sr. Drilling Engineer with Occidental Oil and Gas Corporation in Houston, Texas; and as a Sr. Performance Engineer with Qatar Petroleum. He is passionate on research in next-generation real-time engineering.
