The research theme for the 2021–22 STEPS program is “Subsurface Characterization for Energy”.  This year, projects are focusing on topics that aim to improve our understanding of the subsurface, to assist E&P as well as greener energy activities such as CCUS and geothermal energy, paving the way for a sustainable energy future.
