Backup and recovery services

For VMs, backups are performed daily, weekly, and monthly for data and applications. iEnergy Cloud also offers recovery services, with time to recover depending on the volume of data.
Maintenance and patching
iEnergy Cloud offers regular maintenance windows to upgrade applications, patch operating systems, upgrade security, and reboot system if necessary. Security upgrade patches are applied during these maintenance windows. All patches are tested before deploying to the customer environment. Customers are notified ahead of time and communications are announced via the Customer Success organization.
Metering, monitoring, and logging
iEnergy Cloud employs a metering, monitoring, and logging (MML) methodology that continuously monitors performance and security of applications and underlying infrastructure, logs any critical issues, creates alerts, and sends notifications. Alerts automatically notify cloud operations, performance engineering, and R&D teams to proactively review and resolve issues. Real Time Operation Centers monitor for issues 24/7 and tickets are automatically created for new issues, and then routed and scheduled to reduce any impact on a customer’s ability to deliver results.
Continuous integration and continuous deployment
iEnergy streamlines and automates application deployment through its continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) services, resulting in dramatically reduced time for maintenance and patching. It uses regular monthly maintenance windows for edge devices, QA, pre-production, and production environments to accomplish application upgrades, OS patching, security upgrades, and system reboots. Upgrades are deployed using a ring approach, where all patches are first tested internally before moving on to QA, then pre-production, and finally production for public/private cloud and edge devices.
