Vitaly Khoriakov, PhD, is the Solution Owner for Production Engineering at Halliburton Landmark, responsible for strategy, scientific vision, and development of the Production Engineering portfolio. He has 24 years’ experience in completion and production, software development management, numerical modelling, and started NETool®, an industry standard simulator for complex well modelling. He has eight US patents and has more than 10 publications. Vitaly has a Master’s in Physics from National Research Nuclear University, Moscow, a Master’s in Computer Science from University of Bergen, and a PhD in Petroleum Engineering from Memorial University of Newfoundland.
