Qinghua Wang, PhD, is the Solution Owner for RM Cloud Solutions at Halliburton Landmark, responsible for leveraging cloud technologies to help customers to optimize production and maximize asset value.
Prior to this role, he was the Product Owner for Full-Scale Asset Simulation and a research scientist advisor in the reservoir simulation team, leading cloud transition of classic reservoir simulation software and development of numerical methods for integrated modeling of surface and subsurface.
Before joining Landmark in 2004, he was a postdoctoral research fellow at Georgia Institute of Technology, focusing on high performance computing in computational fluid dynamics. He has published 20 technical papers and has been granted six US patents with more pending.
Qinghua has a M.S. in Computer Science and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, both from Rutgers University. He also holds a master’s degree in Engineering Mechanics from Tsinghua University in China.
