Yongfeng Kang, PhD, is the Technical Advisor - Scientist at Halliburton Landmark, responsible for development of well engineering applications, such as WELLCAT™ and StressCheck™, and researching and developing innovative technology in drilling solutions, where he has 10 years' experience in this field. He has 10 granted patents worldwide (including US patents, and more are pending) and has authored/co-authored and presented 20+ technical papers and presentations in the oil and gas industry, and is a Technical Reviewer for multiple professional journals, including SPEJ, ASME JERT, and AEJ. Yongfeng has Bachelor’s and Master’s in Mechanical Engineering and a PhD in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Tulsa.
