Industry Associations Elect Landmark Technical Experts to their Boards

HOUSTON – Two technology solutions experts at Landmark, a Halliburton (NYSE:HAL) business, have been elected to serve as board members for prominent industry associations.

Shashank Panchangam, senior industry solutions advisor, was elected to the board of the Professional Petroleum Data Management (PPDM) Association at its 2016 Calgary Data Management Symposium. His term of service will allow him to provide leadership and guidance to the association for the next two years. PPDM is a global, not-for-profit society within the petroleum industry. It provides leadership for the professionalization of petroleum data management through the development and dissemination of best practices, education programs, certification programs and professional development opportunities.

PPDM has represented and supported the needs of operating companies, regulators, software vendors, consulting companies and management professionals around the world.

Duane Moonsammy, region services manager, was elected to the board of Petroleum Network Education Conferences (PNEC). As a board member, he serves as an advisor to better prepare data management professionals and drive collaborative efforts to enhance the professional association.

For more than two decades, PNEC has examined best practices, real world cases and solutions involving petroleum data and information management across the E&P enterprise. The conference facilitates professional discussions targeting today's complex data systems integration and management.

Yeleshwarapu is on the board of directors at Energistics, a global non-profit organization that manages and facilitates open data processes in the oil and gas industry.
