Neftex^® Insights delivers detailed evaluation of the sequence stratigraphy, geological history and petroleum geology of the Eastern Former Soviet Union, one of the world’s most remote, prospective and under-explored hydrocarbon provinces.

Exploration Insights integrates a huge dataset from published resources, which are often difficult to access, that spans across onshore and offshore eastern Russia, Mongolia and a large proportion of the Arctic Ocean, including emerging exploration frontiers such as the vast Arctic shelf beneath the East Siberian and Chukchi Seas.

Areas such as the extensive Laptev Shelf, North Sakhalin and the Riphean-Paleozoic stratigraphy of the Nepa-Botuoba and Baykit highs offer exciting opportunities, but there is an inherent lack of data in these regions. Our sequence stratigraphic model has been used in conjunction with our database of wells and outcrops, fully integrated with our regional tectonic and geodynamic understanding, to provide a systematic framework to help you understand the geology and hydrocarbon potential in the region’s many frontier areas, away from data control points.
