Rewarding Excellence in Masters Level Research

The Neftex Earth Model Award is now in its 5th year and aims to foster the link between industry and academia by rewarding excellence in Master's level research. The 2016 competition was open to UK-based geoscience students with projects applicable to exploration geoscience.

2016 was an extremely competitive year with many excellent submissions providing a challenge for the judging panel.

The panel selected three superbly executed Masters Projects with integrated global geoscience significance.

We will welcome the winners and their academic supervisors at a special prize giving event to be held prior to the STEPS London.
