Vikram Pandya is a data scientist at Halliburton. He has been involved in various projects at Halliburton, related to, Nexus reservoir simulation optimization, HSE data analysis, pump transmission failure modeling, NPT analysis, rod pumps, etc. He completed his B.Tech and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, India. He was a postdoctoral researcher at University of Edinburgh and University of Hawaii and visiting lecturer at University of Illinois at Chicago. He served as Assistant/Associate/Full Professor for thirteen years in Mechanical Engineering department at University of Puerto Rico, USA. His major fields of research work are Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Data Driven, Computational and Theoretical Modelling, Fluid Mechanics, Turbulence and Thermal Sciences.
