Jose Rodriguez is an oil and gas industry veteran of over 30 years. Rodriquez worked with PDVSA (Venezuela National O&G Company) for more than 15 years where he successfully managed the implementation of the largest SCADA system for the oil production industry in the world. Rodriguez joined Landmark in 2005 to manage the implementation of projects ranging from real-time production operations and oil field optimization to engineering consulting studies, primarily in Latin America. In 2009, he became manager of workflow automation solutions for the western hemisphere, focusing mainly on automating oil production workflows.
In 2011 Jose became the global practice manager of Landmark’s Intelligent Operation Solutions and encompasses Workflow Automation, Collaborative Work Environments and Change Management where he was able to coordinate and deliver the most advanced Workflow Automation solutions for production. Rodriguez recently moved to Dubai to manage the Middle East & North Africa region.
In 2005, Rodriguez earned a master’s degree in management information systems from Florida International University. He has published several papers with the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and is a co-author of several patents (pending) related to real-time production operations.
