Larry Fink is product manager of Geophysics at Halliburton Landmark in Denver, Colorado. In this capacity, Fink is responsible for the product direction of the DecisionSpace® Velocity modeling suite of products. Fink joined Landmark in 1998 after working 10 years for Phillips Petroleum and Western Geophysical in capacities that included geophysical software development and processing and as a technology advocate. While running prestack depth migrations at Phillips, Fink was part of the 1993 Mahogany Subsalt Discovery, which proved the subsalt play as the first commercial subsalt oil development in the Gulf of Mexico. Fink has published extensively, and is a member of the Society of Exploration Geophysicists. He earned a master's in business administration from the University of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and has a bachelor's in mineral engineering mathematics/geophysics from the Colorado School of Mines, Golden, Colorado.
