Bill Ross is a senior technical advisor at Landmark Software and Services and was involved in the design and development of DecisionSpace®. Ross is based in Denver and has more than 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He was the founder and president of Interpretive Imaging in 1995, a pioneering company that created data and software for the interpretation of raster well log images, and he sold the company in 2002 to TGSNOPEC. Ross joined TGSNOPEC as senior vice president until 2005 when he began his career with Landmark. Since 2005 Ross has been involved in building advanced interpretation and framework-based mapping systems for Landmark.
He graduated from Louisiana State University with a master's degree in geology, and went on to become a researcher for Shell and Marathon Oil.
