Neftex^® Insights delivers detailed evaluation of the sequence stratigraphy, regional geology and petroleum systems of the Black Sea and Greater Caspian, an area home to some of the most prolific and prospective hydrocarbon provinces in the world.

The region includes some historically prolific hydrocarbon producing basins such as the Precaspian, South Caspian and Amu Darya. By considering the regional context of the stratigraphy and tectonics of these well understood basins, we have been able to constrain the lesser understood areas, including the deep water Black Sea and the post-salt Precaspian Basin.

We have also considered the unconventional resource potential of this region in a sequence stratigraphic context. For example, details on the shale gas potential in the Upper Paleozoic stratigraphy of the Dnieper-Donets basin are included in the deliverables.
